Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer at Miba Sinter plays a critical role in ensuring quality is built into the product from concept through production launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this position supports advanced quality planning, risk analysis, validation, and compliance with automotive quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Planning: Participate in design reviews to identify potential quality issues.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure that all products meet internal and customer quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• APQP and PPAP Management: Support the APQP process, prepare and submit the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation to customers, and develop control plans.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with production and quality to address issues and share product feedback.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all products comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental considerations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed product specifications, design documentation, and performance reports for internal and customer use.

Requirements

• • University Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering or related technical field preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in quality role within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Solid understanding of Core Automotive Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning new software programs.
  • Ability to Travel - International and Domestic
