Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to support our product-delivery-team, “Infrastructure Platforms”, in our global IT-product-organization. Someone with strong business-focus that acts in a self-responsible way across the following areas:
Main Responsibilities:
List of Activities-
- Designing and improving our fast growing global Cloud-Environment (Currently mostly Azure with first steps in AWS)
- Designing and managing a governance-framework concerning costs and security for our tenants and it’s multiple subscriptions
- Support for other products to implement their Azure-solutions
- Eg. Kubernetes-cluster, Application-Gateways, Datawarehouses, etc.
- 3rd-Level support and problem management for our global Cloud-environment
- Improvement and automation of existing processes
- Coordination with stakeholders (other IT-products, Servicedesk, external partners, representatives and users from the business)
The Infrastructure Platform Team is responsible for the entire infrastructure spectrum (datacenters, network, active directory, etc.) so you should be open to expand your knowledge and take some responsibility in further topics on the infrastructure spectrum when collaborating with your team. Our team members are located in multiple countries including Austria, USA, Brazil and India although we endeavour to collaborate as a true team so there are many opportunities for in-person interaction. You will also have the opportunity to travel to Austria and/or other regions we are located in to meet your colleagues in person.
Requirements
Soft Skills
- Minimum of 4 years work-experience in a global IT-environment with focus on Azure or AWS
- Deep knowhow and experience in
- Hybrid cloud environments
- Cloud Security
- Cloud Native Services
- Containerization (Kubernetes)
- Basic network understanding
- Creation of technical documentation
- Process thinking
- Higher degree in IT is an advantage
- Very good English-skills
- Agile mindset
