Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: You will design the company-wide data architecture, laying the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the entire Miba Group and taking our data competence to a new level.
  • Optimization & Innovation: You will analyze existing processes and systems, identify optimization potentials, and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Interface Management: You will work closely with colleagues from IT/D and our business units to promote a company-wide understanding of data/products and their value. As part of the Enterprise Architecture Community, you will help shape the overall architecture.
  • Technology Selection: You will evaluate new technologies and tools in the field of data management and actively support their implementation and integration.
  • Data Governance: You will drive the further development and implementation of our data governance strategies and ensure compliance with data protection and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in data architecture, data management, or similar.
  • University degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of data modeling, databases (relational and NoSQL), cloud technologies, and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, and data protection is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Hands-on mentality, strong presentation and communication skills in german and english.
