Responsibilities
- Support global Miba Production Sites in the Area of Smart Factory.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python (Flask, Django, Numpy, Pandas etc..).
- Collaborate with architects and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams in an agile environment using Azure DevOps.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend systems.
- Develop and maintain secure and scalable IIoT platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IIoT deployments to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Good requirement understanding and work independently wherever necessary.
- Stay current with IIoT technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the development of innovative IIoT projects to meet client needs.
- Document technical solutions and maintain best practices.
- Implement clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Develop skills which are necessary for product delivery.

Professional Expertise
- University degree in computer science, Information Systems with strong focus on IIoT (or an equivalent education)
- Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience as a Backend developer.
- Experience in the Area of Industry 4.0, IIoT
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in Flask and Django frameworks.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), including handling large-scale & time-series data.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and platform such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and manufacturing environments.
- Experience with industry protocols i.e. OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT etc.
- Ability to work effectively in agile, globally distributed teams.
- Proven working experience in implementing IT solutions in the Area of Production
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and observability tools (e.g., Grafana).
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning concepts.
- Experience in developing AI powered applications is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Java Spring Boot, Node.js is an added advantage.
