Process Engineer

McConnelsville, Ohio

Process Engineer
Miba is seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing process development, product quality, and continuous improvement within our operations. This role works closely with engineering, quality, production, customers, suppliers, and other Miba locations to develop new processes, improve existing operations, and support technical problem solving.

Key Responsibilities
Support new product development for manufacturing processes and gaging methods
Participate in PFMEA development and process risk assessment
Create and maintain process work instructions and training materials
Train employees on equipment operation and process requirements
Support safe and efficient equipment operation
Lead or participate in corrective actions and 8D problem-solving activities
Support scrap reduction and continuous improvement projects
Review internal failures and support daily production needs
Attend customer meetings as required
Investigate new suppliers, technologies, and processes
Support optimization of methods, materials, machines, and manpower
Collaborate with peers across the Miba network, including other plants

Qualifications
Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred
Knowledge of PFMEA, corrective actions, and 8D methodology preferred
Experience with process documentation, training, and continuous improvement is a plus
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
