Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help us build scalable, reliable, and high-quality data solutions. In this role, you will design and develop modern data pipelines, data platforms, and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you can expect
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data-processing solutions
- Develop and optimize data architectures for batch and real-time processing
- Integrate data from various sources
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance
- Improve the performance, reliability, and transparency of data platforms
- Collaborate with IT product teams, data analysts, and business departments
- Establish and promote best practices in data engineering, testing, documentation, and version control
- Evaluate new technologies and help shape the future data platform
What makes you special
- Several years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or PySpark
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Practical experience with data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar is an advantage
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, automated testing
- Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international team
- Fluent in German and English
