Responsibilities

List of Activities

• Oversee and maintain all aspects of company’s SOC operation and development.
• Investigate security breaches and IT security incidents.
• Monitor and ensure performance of IT Security systems.
• Vulnerabilities analysis and fix the detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Analyze, prioritize, classify and resolve IT-Security threats.
• Involvement in the monitoring and audit of systems and processes such as privileges, infrastructure, policies and guidelines.
• Develop security standards and best practices for organization.
• Drive initiatives to harden server, clients and cloud.
• Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards

Professional Expertise

• University degree in computer science with strong focus on IT-Security (or an equivalent education)
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as IT Security Engineer / Analyst
• Good exposure to identify IT threats, threat prevention, state of the art security technologies, network security, security architecture, enterprise security solutions, etc.
• Experience into Vulnerability management (knowledge about different systems, scanning techniques and remediation)
• Endpoint detection and response (knowledge about different solutions and techniques, incident response experience, etc.)
• Working experience as a valued member of SOC-Team (i.e. Log-analytics, SIEM, incident response, etc.) or Security Engineer
• Working experience into Log-Management/ SIEM (SIEM rollout, operation, event analysis and response)
• IT Security certifications are added advantage (CISSP, GIAC, etc.)
