Responsibilities
List of Activities
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Bricks and Delta Lake.
- Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Datawarehouse and data lake.
- Very Good knowledge of pySpark and SQL.
- Good Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.
- Good knowledge of Data warehousing concepts incremental load, SCD etc.
- Ability to work on performance tuning and code optimization.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and security.
- Good to have knowledge of Azure GitHub for source code versioning.
- Good to have basic knowledge of Machine Learning
- Good to have knowledge of PowerBI.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Good collaboration skills, working closely with various stakeholders, including business users, product owners, data analysts.

Professional Expertise
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, electronics and communications
- Minimum 6-7 years of professional experience in relevant Data Engineering field i.e., Cloud
- Minimum 3 years of strong experience in Databricks, pyspark and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Blob, Azure Storage Explorer
- Proficient in creating Data Factory pipelines for on-cloud ETL processing; copy activity, custom Azure development etc.
- Good to have knowledge of Machine Learning and PowerBI
- Experience into SQL stored procedures, Views, functions, SAP ODATA etc.
- Knowledge or experience in row level security, GIT, CI/CD, PowerShell scripting an added advantage.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
